While we work on more roundups, let’s visit a few projects that are moving along nicely. In Upper Downtown, the twin-tower condo project has reached another milestone: the first tower crane has been installed at the project site. While not much vertical progress has taken place since our last Downtown Roundup, this condo project is clearly progressing.
In addition to our cover photo, below are two more of the new Potain Top-Slewing tower crane.
Looking into the hole at the project site, it appears that excavation is mostly complete, and the first sign of the core and columns are starting to appear. With only a couple of underground floors, it shouldn’t be long until we see the towers go above the street level.
As construction progresses for the 18th and Glenarm condos, we should expect to see one more tower crane installed in the future.
